Peel-and-stick is the right choice when you rent, when you want to change it in two years, or when the wall is smooth and in good shape. Traditional paper holds up better in high-traffic areas and on walls with any texture, and it is the only option for most grasscloth and specialty goods. Peel-and-stick will not hold on a wall with an orange-peel or knockdown texture, and it will lift off flat paint that was never primed. Depending on what is on your wall now, prep can mean skim coating, sanding, or a coat of the right primer. We inspect the wall first and quote the prep separately so you know what you are paying for.
Order the material before you book, and order it in one batch so the dye lot matches. Pattern repeat drives waste, so a large repeat needs more rolls than the square footage suggests. Send us the product page and the room measurements and we will tell you the roll count to buy.

Yes. Removal is quoted separately because there is no way to know how stubborn it is until a test strip comes off. We check that during the estimate.
On a properly primed, smooth wall it usually comes off cleanly. On unprimed drywall or fresh flat paint it can pull the surface. We check what is on the wall before we recommend it.
